Everything is saved automatically in your browser.

Frequently asked questions
What is Markdown?
Markdown is a simple way to format text using plain characters, for example # for a heading and ** around a word to make it bold. It is widely used in README files, documentation and notes.
How do I make text bold or italic in Markdown?
Put two asterisks around text for bold (**bold**) and one asterisk for italic (*italic*). Use two tildes for strikethrough (~~text~~).
How can I write bold or italic text on social media?
Social sites do not support Markdown, so use the Unicode text styler on this page. Type your text, copy a style such as bold sans or italic serif, and paste it anywhere.
Is the preview safe from HTML or script injection?
Yes. All HTML in your text is escaped before it is converted, and only http, https and mailto links are allowed.
Is my text saved?
Your text is saved automatically in your own browser (local storage). It is never uploaded to a server.
